Were you successful with the installation? I would be quite surprised if it was able to install successfully as I believe Windows XP was newly released during that time period.

No, forget it. It's hopelessly outdated and not compatible. As Jeff said, at best it will run on WinXP.

If you were in fact able to install it, you may try to run it in Windows XP compatibility mode.
