All known files and foldders pertaining to Adobe Flash Player already deleted from PC.  Yet, the Adobe Flash Player installer insists that "a newer version is alreadly installed."  The installer aborts the installaltion at that point.

Any remaining Adobe FP files are obviously hidden somewhere in the system.  Where might those hypothetical files and folders be located?

Alternatively, if this is an installer flake, how can one get around it to install the player?
