Possible 10.8 issues with ID CS 5.5

Everything seems to be working pretty good but every once in a while, I will try to open an ID document from the Finder and I get the beach ball of death. Won't go away. Have to force quite ID and re-open. Everything comes back up including the document I tried to open.

One other odd thing happens too. When ID comes back up, it restores the documents that were open ALONG WITH documents that WERE open previously but were not currently open at the time of the crash/problem. That's odd.
