how do you create a seach box in MUSE? - viewer enters a keyword and will be lead to correct product
Hi there - For questions about individual programs, you're better off posting in their specific forums. Here's the Muse forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/general_questions_about_adobe_muse
That being said, there is currently not a search bar widget that can be added to a site directly from within Muse. However, you can add custom HTML code to your page, with a method such as this: http://www.ehow.com/how_6772398_embed-google-search-bar.html. Just add the custom HTML to your Muse page

Thank you very much Kendall - I do appreciate the help.
Of course, the other question I have is how do I link a 'printable' PDF? Does that PDF have to reside somewhere, such as the host of the website and then I direct the page to that link?
I had tried the forum earlier today but no answers came quickly enough so googled and also went to W3 schools. Ended up with a solution very close to your suggestion.
Again, appreciate the valuable suggestions.

Hi Pauline -
I've found that the best way to add a "page" for a printable PDF via Muse is to include a link to an externally-hosted image or file.
If you're dealing with a single image file, you're probably fine uploading it to a host website like Photobucket or SlickPic, and then linking directly to the image. But if you need to host multiple files, or have non-image links, you may want to use an FTP. Here's a document that deals with linking downloadable files to your Muse website, using an FTPclient: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/960510.
Hope this helps!

Thank you once again Kendall.
That is exactly the information that I was seeking. I did try with Photobucket - to show my client the functionality but quickly realized that it would be too awkward with the number of pages necessary for this project. I was wondering if their web host ftp would be a 'place' where they could reside - I will contact them.
Appreciate the 'forums' link as well.
I am liking MUSE, but still have a little learning curve.
Have a great day.

Thank you so much Kendall. You have been tons of help - I like the layout capabilities of MUSE - coming from a print background and knowing just enough HTML and CSS to be dangerous!
Have a great day.
