Annoying clicking sound between slides

We have this on all of our presentations - you can hear it in this one, for instance:
http://breeze.quinnipiac.edu/p79364952/

I've even gone into audio edit to see if I could make it go away. I did edit down the volume around the red line that marked the boundaries between slides. Net result - the clicks got louder.

Yes, the post-editing worked. I'd tried to do something like that using volume control (no results), but found silence under Insert. Silence is golden. Thanks!

Related to this, can we turn off the Breeze supplied audio click ? It is quite annoying.
