Is it possible to link a LiveCycle form directly to an Access database? I would like to create a form in LiveCycle Designer that will pull data out of a query I have set up in Access. Then I would send that form out to my technicians - all around the country. The technicians would fill the form out and then e-mail it back to me, and I could click a button to update the Access database with the new data in the form. Is all this possible? If so, what steps do I need to take to make it work?

Hi,
it's indeed possible. Check Stefan Cameron's blog.
He has several articles of database connections.

I set the data connection up and added the buttons, just as it was suggested in the link you provided. However, I have a couple more questions. Is it possible for someone who does not have this same data connection to view and update this form?
I would also like to be able to add a filter to this form, so that each technician can filter on his or her name and view only records pertinent to them. What would be the best way to accomplish that?
Thank you,
Diane

The person that should use the form, needs the same data connection as you, so you'll need to setup an ODBC connection on his/her computer too.
To filter database records check this article.
