I have an HP with a 64 bit operating system, but I can only download
the 32 bit version of flash player eventhough i choose the 64 bit version.
help!

Go to the manual download page, choose the "other languages and versions link" below the big fat banner button.

The latest installer will automatically install both 32-bit and 64-bit players on a 64-bit system; there are no longer separate installers.
