    Encore "cannot run in trial mode" - Premiere works

      Hi everyone,

       

      I downloaded premiere and Encore both as trials.  Then towward the end of the month I purchased the creative cloud.  Premiere works fine, but something with encore doesn't seem to have stuck.  When I try to launch it, I get the error "encore cs6 cannot run in trial mode.  plese relaunch the application and enter a serial number."

       

      of course, there is no place to enter a serial number, and I don't even have one, because I'm using the cloud.

       

      how can I solve this without uninstalling premiere?

          Hi Aemilia,

           

          First of all make sure that after you have purchased the Creative Cloud , you have activated your PPro with the your Adobe id with which you made the purchase.

           

          To activate Ppro, on launching PPro it will give a screen to licence your product.You will have to sign in with your CC adobe id in order to activate it.

          To check that PPro is activated- launch Ppro -> goto help -> in the Drop down menu if you see that the Deactivated button is enabled it means that your product is activated.

           

          Once Ppro is activated. Encore will launch without any issues.
