ECBowen Aug 17, 2012 8:36 AM (in response to coredvideo)Then it sounds like the transformer in the Corsair is having issues with the voltage level from the Modified sine wave coming from the UPS. I would probably not run the system on that UPS or eventually you can blow the PSU.

RjL190365 Aug 17, 2012 9:04 AM (in response to coredvideo)I agree with Eric. Newer, higher-efficiency PSUs really need pure sine wave UPSes. However, the modified sine wave UPS that you have is intended for systems with older, lower-efficiency PSUs that provide much less power output than their actual from-the-wall power draw.
Unfortunately, good pure sine wave UPSes can cost nearly half as much money as what you spent for your entire PC.

7. Re: Is Corsair TX950 good?
coredvideo Aug 17, 2012 12:23 PM (in response to ECBowen)I asked Corsir's support they also mentioned about Pure sine wave. So i think i may switch the PSU b'coz i can't change the UPS it cost almost double the PSU and it has 4/5 Hours of backup.
I tried UPS on the CoolerMaster Silent Pro RS850 (borrow from a friend) it doesn't make any sounds at all,,,, This PSU would be good.
Any suggestion's?

ECBowen Aug 17, 2012 1:34 PM (in response to coredvideo)Coolermaster Silent Pro 1000W work fine with Simulated Sine waves so the 850W should be fine.
