I've noticed over the last couple days I am unable to watch videos on Facebook.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash PLayer and it is now up to date- 11.3.300.271.  I'm using Mozilla (it is up to date as well) but have also had the issue while using IE.  Windoes 7 HP-.Firefox 14.0.1

Any feedback would be much appreicated

Thanks

"unable" means nothing to me; what exactly do you see instead of the expected Flash content?

In Mozilla when I press play in Facebook I just get a black screen...not error message....just a black screen.

I just checked again and I can now view videos in Facebook through IE....not sure what changed there...

But I use Mozilla.....

Thanks for any insight

Could you try temporarily disabling protected mode to see if that fixes the problem?  Please see one of the last solutions listed in this FAQ for details.

How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?

Ok, I'd recommend doing a clean install using the 11.4 release.  You might also want to try disabling hardware acceleration.

How do I do a clean install of Flash Player?

How do I disable or enable hardware acceleration?
