    Encore CS 6: Multipage Menues

    Sport2105 Community Member

      Hello,

I'm new here and I'm creating currently a project with a lot of chapters. I used a predefined menue with a connected submenu.

Then I connected one button to the submenu and another button to the first chapter. These two buttons are working just fine.

Then I assigned in the submenue the first button to the first chapter and let Encore create the remaining links to the other chapters. In total I have now 4 pages (1 main menue and 3 sub menues).

Even if it looks that the pages from the submenues are connected the menue doesn't change to the next screen if I choose "Next". In comparison the link to the Main Menue works fine.

Any ideas what I can try?

This happens while Trying "Preview from here" in the menue context menue.

I have Windows 7 64 Bit and I'm creating a PAL DVD with 720*576 resolution.

      Thanks in Advance

      Uwe

Multipage menu is a Blu-ray feature.

Encore has just the DVD preview available. So any Blu-ray feature would not be previewd in Encore itself. For this you have to burn a disc and test if the navigation works fine for you. Please use BD-RE discs for testing purposes.

            I'm creating a PAL DVD

As Ramesh says, multipage is not available in DVD. Are you creating a multipage? Are you doing a BD?

If you are creating a DVD, use "Create Chapter Index," not "Create Multipage Chapter Index."

If that is not it, let us know and we'll help you sort it out.

I assume that you mean BlueRay when you say "BD". I'm still burning regular one-sided DVDs. So I will try "Create Chapter Index" and then I will report here if this is working. However based on the information you provided my assumption is that this will solve the problem.

              Thanks to both of you

I tried it out and it works now.

              Thanks again
