Adobe flash installation problems

I have attempted to install adobe flash on my macbook pro. I have Mac OS 10.5 and followed the instructions but when I click the download it says it is going to download but nothing happens. I also tried the uninstall with no results. The check box appears blank and no error message appears. Any ideas?

Download Adobe Flash Player 11.4 offline installer from here :

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac/install_flash_player_11_osx.d...

Note : Download the Installer and then double click on the .dmg file.

Because you're running OS 10.5, you actually need to download the 10.3 installer, not the new 11.4 version.  You can always find the latest by going here:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions

or you can download the current version here:

http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/pdc/10.3.183.23/install_flash_player_10_osx.dmg
