Using Acrobat X Standard and Microsoft PowerPoint, I'm trying to print a pdf where there isn't any margin (also for Word docs). I've tried "Scale to Fit Paper" but that leaves a slight margin on the top and bottom. I'm basically trying to print so that it looks exactly like the pdf I've created so that when someone opens on their screen, it will not show any margins, just the content and background i've created.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
I FIGURED OUT!!!!
Here is what you do:
Go to printers, Adobe Acrobat
Right click and select preferences
Under "Adobe PDF Page Size" select add
Name it, i named PowerPoint
Then use 7.5 width and 10.0 height
When printing select this size, purrfect

Hi bmcfiv,
I'm not sure I entirely understand your issue, but I may have a suggestion.
I'm assuming that there are margins in the document you are working with that you are trying to get rid of. Is this correct? If so, you can use the Crop tool in the Tools panel. You would simply draw a rectangle excluding the margins, and hit enter.
I hope this helps.

Thank you Erica, but doesn't entirely solve my problem. If I have a 50 page document I have to crop top and bottom, so 100 crops, not cool especially when i am frequently updating the document.
I had printed to the edges in a previous version, so not sure why i can't do now.
To futher clarify, I have a powerpoint document i want to print to pdf. when i print normally, there are significant white spaces between the edge and the content. If I print "fit to page", i still have a slight margin.
Here is the PP. No margin (just background).
Here is PDF.

Are you using the PDFMaker Add-in in PowerPoint to create your PDF or a different technique? If not, try using this first.

Don't forget you can crop all pages at once.

Cropping doesn't really solve the problem, since i'm constantly printing different versions... it doesn't sound like this can't be done through the general print feature, hard to believe!
