1. Re: Updating Acro Pro X
Bill@VT Aug 21, 2012 1:57 PM (in response to peterpica)You did not try to update from a web notification did you? You should update either from within Acrobat, from the download site, or from an official Adobe notification. Unfortunately, viruses are getting good at copying the real thing and so if there is a question, think of it as a notification and go to one of the first 2 methods for an update.

r_k_rathour Aug 24, 2012 2:38 AM (in response to peterpica)hi peter, Acrobat 10 and it's update installer logs information in "install.log".
This install.log will have the install location for the Acrobat 10 application.
The install log can be seen from the Applications->Utilities->Console app.
Open consol app and in left pane, go to Files->/private/var/log -> install.log
OR
From a terminal run "open /private/car/log/install.log".
Hope it will help...
if not please share the above said log...

5. Re: Updating Acro Pro X
peterpica Aug 25, 2012 10:53 AM (in response to r_k_rathour)I finally found my problem. My Adobe Acrobat Pro.app was misnamed (don't ask me how)... it actually had the word "DISABLED" in front of it. When I edited that out, the update worked fine.
Really strange!
