I am having bullet issue in the notes pane of Presenter. The bullet do not appear but are in the notes section of the source ppt. Any ideas on how to resolve?

I would try saving the project as a PPT instead of a PPTX and see if that makes a difference.

If it doesn't then you may need to use a - instead of a bullet and see if that stays. It may have to do with the fact that your text from the Notes section of PPT gets converted into text in an XML file (the viewer.xml file located at {publishedfileslocation}\data\).  You may be able to edit the text in that file.
