JSS1138 Aug 29, 2012 6:34 PM (in response to BendigoTelco)Right click the clips in the bin, select Modify, Interpret Footage... Change the Field Order to Progressive, then drop one of those clips on the New item icon to create a matching sequence.

BendigoTelco Aug 29, 2012 6:50 PM (in response to JSS1138)Totally fixed it, thanks.
I just presumed the source being progressive and the target being progressive it would be progressive.

3. Re: 1080p MTS files in CS6 PPro are very pixelated
JSS1138 Aug 30, 2012 6:21 AM (in response to BendigoTelco)The issue is that the source isn't really progressive. Canon records the progressive capture in an interlaced file, hence PP sees it as interlaced.

BendigoTelco Aug 30, 2012 3:15 PM (in response to JSS1138)Once someone pointed it out to me its very clear its interlaced.
Thanks for the help, I'm very new to PP and working with video sources from a modern camera.

ComputerNovice25 Aug 30, 2012 3:25 PM (in response to BendigoTelco)Like Jim mentioned it's seen as interlaced because it records both fields therefore it gets seen as interlaced. Which footage like this is actually "PSF" or progressive segmented frames. I'd really recommend you read this article right here about PSF footage.
