Installing Flash Player

When installing latest update for Flash Player I get message 'program can't start because sliprt.dll is missing'.

This file is present in c:\windows\sliprt.dll. On another computer the update has completed but sliprt.dll is not present on the computer. What is the solution please?

I am having the same problem - unable to install Adoble Flash Player with the error message "missing sliprt.dll" ..... yet this dll is present in c:\windows. I am using Firefox browser with Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit.
