error when installing new version od adobe flash player

tried to install latest version of adobe flash player. a script error message at line # 1 missing object ...

HAPPENS when dowlonding the script an when runing it from the site

I'm using windows XP 32bit with explorer 8.

The current flash player version is 11.3.300.271

The error occurs after initialization and during the retrieve session.

The script error is missing object at line 1

Download the offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.ht... and save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.
