Flexrails Experiment Sep 13, 2006 3:40 PM (in response to Bill Perry)Quick question - can I target flash lite 2.1 from Flex 2.0? I think the answer is no, I'd be happy if it was yes. -
3. Re: Welcome to Flash Lite for Windows Mobile 5.0
netsoul Sep 14, 2006 12:42 AM (in response to Bill Perry)1. Flex 2.0 uses actionscript 3.0 for Flash Player 9, but Flash Lite 2.1 - AS 2.0 and limited player 7.
2. I'm not sure the application, written with framework, will be stir on handset because of low CPU performance and limited memory. -

mikeeey Oct 3, 2006 5:52 PM (in response to Newsgroup_User)is this the right place to make suggestions? if it is i wanted to say u should be able to adjust the quality in the menu. some flashes require low quality to run decent on smartphones, even when their overclocked. Second i thought it would be nice if there could somehow be some speed hacks to make it work faster, maybe a frameskip option or something to lower the audio quality and video quality. And Third there should be flash 8.0 support. Most Swfs now are made with flash 8.0 and need that to run.
id be very interested tho if there was a frameskip and or speedhack type option tho.
write back
thanks,
mike. -

Flash_Mobile_PM Nov 1, 2006 11:02 PM (in response to Rich_Price)Hi Mike,
this is the place for suggestions. thank you. We will definitely add in the low/mid/high feature so it is visible off the menu item in a future release.
your other suggestions have also been noted.

Born2fly Nov 16, 2006 7:52 AM (in response to Bill Perry)Hi there, just wandering, is there any documentation that can be imported into Macromedia Flash 8 to work with as standard docs, and also is there any testing devices for WM5 or just some PocketPC, because as far as I see there is still only symbian ones.
Thanks -

19. Welcome to Flash Lite for Windows Mobile 5.0
mikeeey Nov 24, 2006 1:22 AM (in response to Flash_Mobile_PM)cool thanks!
also forgot to say that there should be a stretch to screen mode, so it stretches to the full QVGA size instead of a small screen in the middle. also for some games u need a button on the keybord for it to work, so maybe if the keys on the number pad and other buttons on the phone can be asigned manually to a charcter on the keybord (for example in the options u could assign the 0 key as space bar) this could be usefull for a lot of flashed acually.. and it looks like theyv started makin flash 9's now and more action scripts so those could eventualy be supported too.
cant wait to see the next version, good job on the current one! -

Brion K. Mills Nov 27, 2006 8:04 PM (in response to Bill Perry)It wasn't initially clear to me that I should post to this topic. Below is my original question.
Hello,
I am curious to know if there are plans to develop fp7 for Windows Mobile 5.0 running on the Motorola Q?
I have attempted to install it, but it is not currently supported. Is there a possible workaround?
Thanks in advance!
