As you might imagine, this software protects you, and more importantly, your recipients by checking the integrity of the files that are sent to ensure they are safe to open. A recent side effect of this was that the AV software started to more frequently report false errors on larger files – initially misreporting them as infected, and now reporting the transactions with the rather opaque “error code -1”. This does NOT mean your file has a virus, but that our AV software experienced a problem in scanning it. SendNow is designed to only send files that have been successfully scanned for viruses.
Our engineers are aware of this "-1 problem" and are investigating potential ways to fix it.
