A simple problem (should be)

I am trying to download Adobe Flash so I can watch DirecTV in Europe. It will not accept my password. I changed the password, still no go. I chatte with an adobe person who reset it twice, gave me a new password that let me log in to Adobe, but it still would not be accept for the download. The chat person gave up. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Please find the download location for Adobe Flash player.

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

It will not ask you for the Adobe id and the Password.

Please select the right Operating system and the Right Browser.

However in case we can also use the self help document.

It still happens. I get a box that says "Install Adobe Flash Player wants

to make changes. To permit this enter your password". And it never accepts

it. I really appreciate your help.

Well, the better question would be, where that password dialog is coming from... Flash Player itself requires no such thing. Whatever you see is coming from your operating system or some security tool.

You need to install Flash Player as an Administrator user.

user. I have a MacBook Air, browser is Safari.

The password that you need to enter is your MacBooks's password - the password using which you login into the Mac.
