Firefox problems installing

I have Firefox.  The first time I tried to install Flash, I got close Firefo to installx.  But it was closed and for a considerable amount of times.  HELP!!!!!  I can't play a lot of my games because of this.  Thx  Fred

Close the browser (Firefox) and then double-click the downloaded file.

Please press Control + ALT + TAB keys together and click Task Manager. See if you have Firefox or any other browser, except Internet Explorer, listed in the Applications or Process tabs.  Select it and click End Task / End Process.

Firfox is the only browser working.  I very rarely use IE, only when the website only works with IE.
