Find the link on the web and change the http to itms.
Make sure to use itms:// as the URL prefix and it will send the user to the App or Music store. See the Hyperlinks section of DPS help for more information. http://help.adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/WS67cb9e293e2f1f60-8ad81e812b10bfd837-80 00.html
The key point is to select the button (not a text hyperlink), and select the Open In Device Browser Display and Ask First options in the Overlays panel. Text hyperlinks are always set to display in the in-app browser.
so there is no way to open an external app from within the custom storefront / library.
I tried nearly everything, without success:
a http://www.adobe.com - opens the url but with no option to close the window
a itms://itunes.apple.com/whatevertheapplinkis does simply nothing
any way to help me out ??
If you do a button with a link built with the Linkmaker web utility, if the user taps on the button, it opens a pop up asking the user if he wants to leave the page for another app and then takes him to the precise page of the precise download in the iTunes store.
Isn't that what Kristen and Michael want?
not realy. i need to do this from a custom/store library and not to attach an applink to the bottom row of buttons.
We are having the same problem with trying to integrate this into . We tried linking to the App Store, but it won't respond to the link.
None of these work, but if you use ANY other link it will work fine. Any ideas?
