Sami@Adobe Nov 30, 2006 12:33 PM (in response to 3ABNPublishing)Hi, to improve search results, you can also try including an asterix before or after a search term and it will wildcard the phrase. E.g., pastel* should pick up "pastels."
As for the fact that it can't find known words, that might be related to the high traffic we suddenly experienced today.
As Lydia mentioned, search could use some refining, and it's on our list to look at.

Yes, I had already tried the asterisk method, and it worked ... at least when the search was working (it stopped working completely for me after that ... haven't tried again yet).
However, these days requiring an asterisk is a bit outdated. Google and Spotlight automatically search for keywords within larger words. I don't think most users expect to need to use it except for complicated matches, like an asterisk in the middle of a word, etc.
