I cannot download flash. I have windows 7 and using explorer.

I cannot download flash.  I have windows 7 and using explorer.  When I download flash, it tells me that the download is successful but it isn't.  When I try to save it it is not saved where it tells me that it is saved.  I downloaded reader and that was successful.  I did disable shockwave in my addons because that was slowing yahoo opening up.  So when I download flash everything looks successful but then it is not there.

Shockwave Player, or Shockwave Flash?  If you disabled Shockwave Flash, then you disabled Flash Player.

I did disable Shockwave Flash...so that must be the problem.  Since shockwabe flash was making my explorer go really, really slow, what can I do?  And thank you for your help.
