Can't edit artist name in bridge metadata

I want to change all references to artist name in my pictures to a different name. I tried creating a metadata template, but the only option to specify is 'date and time original'. It won't let me change anything else. Using CS6.

      Anyone help, please?

This is data set in your camera, don't know what you are using but with Canon you can add your name as camera owner using Canon Utility software itself or on newer models even on the in camera software.

The artist name is showing the same name as camera owner.

The only other possible escape might be using a script. But for that possibility you have to ask in the dedicated Bridge Scripting forum, (see link on main Bridge forum page).

Thanks for that. I am going to change my name in the Canon Utility for new images downloaded. But as you can see I have changed my surname, and wanted to change the references to my old name in my existing shots. I'll have a look at the script item you mentioned.
