I've downloaded flash but the install will not take place because it is asking me for a password. I'm using the correct password because I am already logged into Adobe. What can I do? I can't see any videos.

What password? Flash Player doesn't require any password. Whereever that's coming from, is something else. Check your security tools.

What is your operating system; what is your web browser?
Are you installing Flash, or Flash Player?
Can you post a screenshot of where you are asked for a password? As Mylenium wrote, there is no password required to install Flash Player.

Please reply in the forum topic, rather than communicating via PM.
Received the following PM from the o/p:
Hello,
I am on Safari and when I click on a video it states the plug in is blocked and to download Flash Player. I've downloaded it but when I click on install I receive this:
Install Adobe Flash Player wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this. Then there is a field with my name and a field for password.
Robin
It appears as if you are not installing as an Administrator user, hence you are prompted to supply an admin password (by the operating system, not the FP installer).
If you need more help, please state what your operating system is.

We still don't know if you are asking about Flash (Professional), or Flash Player?
