I'm using RH 8 (technical communication suite 2.5): when I import a word document (Word 2010) all the topics are included in boxes. How can I correct this?

Does this happen on any Word file imported? Can you post an example of the Word file and what happens when you import it?

Thank you for replying.
Yes, it now happens with all DOCX and DOC files produced with Word 2010.

Can you explain what mean by in boxes? A screenshot might help.
This problem is ringing a bell and if the problem is what I think it might be, you will find a
tag near the beginning of the body section of the HTML. You can remove it and it should solve the problem. If not, just close the topic without saving.
I think it is caused by something in Word 2010 generated docs that Rh8 was not designed for (Rh8 was not 2010 compatible).

Of course.
I attach a screenshot of the design area of RoboHelp with a sample topic from a DOC generated with word 2010
and this is the HTML:

Try deleting the line

Rh will delete the closing tag when you revert to Design View.

You might also want to remove the lines

as that will override your CSS.

Thank you. I'll delete all the
from the htm files.

I found that my Heading 2s were coming into RH in a text box because the Heading 2 style in Word included a paragraph border (overhead line). When I removed that from the Word style, no more text box when importing to RH10.
