Chris Cox Oct 3, 2012 10:32 PM (in response to Stacey Bindman)You mean it crashed, and you sent in a crash report.
Photoshop can't interfere with other software unless it's running.
And the only conflicts reported are Chrome browser causing problems inside Photoshop.

Your prerogative but it's easier to troubleshoot if we know specifically which other software you have installed: freeware or commercial?
Otherwise we're all left guessing.
No issues on my systems (Win 7 and OSX Mountain Lion) between CS6 and other software.

Stacey Bindman Oct 4, 2012 2:42 AM (in response to Stacey Bindman)Hi Chris & John,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
What I'm going to try and do is upload CS6 extended (Photoshop - stand alone) if I can.
The other program is a commerical (paid with a serial number) called Fluid Mask 3.
Is there a possibility that CS6 can create a problem with OS 10.8.1, which then interferes with my other program?
If I can re-load CS6 extended, and I get the same problem, what I'll do is screencapture the "issue" that Apple OS 10.8.1 said I had,
and attach only a portion of the key parts to a reply here.

Stacey Bindman Oct 4, 2012 3:30 AM (in response to Stacey Bindman)Hi Chris & John,
My plan of reinstalling CS6 extended didn't work.
I downloaded and re-installed the trial version of CS6 extended, but when I went to open it up,
I was informed that my 30-day trial period had expired.
Also, while I was downloadeing it, I had a crash in the download, but everything continued normally after to the
full download.

6. Re: Are there any reported conflicts of CS6 (Stand-alone) with other Non-Adobe Software Programs?
Bill Hunt Oct 4, 2012 9:37 AM (in response to Stacey Bindman)Adobe trials are a one-time offer. If the trial has been removed, one may not reinstall that trial on that computer, even if the original trial installation had not been used for the 30 days.
Now, Adobe does offer a money-back guarantee on their software. If you BUY the software, and use it for less than 30 days, but it does not perform to one's expectations, they can return that purchased software for a full, money-back refund.
Sorry, and good luck,
Hunt

Unless Photoshop was running at the time, that should not be possible.
And even then it is highly unlikely.
