Hi,

OS: XP Professional (32 bit)
Product: RoboHelp

We are facing issue when we insert the Captivate file into Robohelp 10.

We inserted Video file (MP4 file) into captivate and after publishing it when we inserted the .swf file into Robohelp and viewed the preview, it displayed the error message as "Connection error".

Can you please let us know what settings we need to make to get the desired output.

Thanks,
Anushree Patel

Hi Anushree,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Can you please confirm me of you Play the MP4 file after you publish it from Captivate 6, is it running fine, there is a problem that was discussed by so many users in Captivate community here. So can you please check the output first which you generated by Captivate and then insert the MP4 in Robohelp 10. That will work.

Hope this helps.,

Thanks

Hi Priyank,

We have played the MP4 file after we published it from Captivate. It was playing fine, however on insertion in Robohelp 10 it did not play and displays the message, "Connection Error".

We have also checked the output before inserting the MP4 in Captivate, it was playing fine. Can a virtual call be arranged so we can show it you and try and close the subject in discussion.

Please advise ASAP.

Thanks,

Anushree Patel

Hi there

Have you tried adding the MP4 to RoboHelp's Baggage? That will likely fix it.

Cheers... Rick
