How to print as greyscale on a Mac

    TwitchOSX Community Member

I have a greyscale document from a client. When I send it to our color copier RIP and print it in greyscale mode on the copier, all the dark stuff comes out WAY darker than intended because Acrobat is sending it to the RIP in CMYK mode which in turn darkens everything up a lot.

My only workaround right now is to place the document in InDesign and send it to the RIP in greyscale mode from there.

But, is there a way to send it to the RIP directly from Acrobat in greyscale mode so I don't have to mess around with InDesign?

      Using Acrobat Pro X 10.1.4 on OS X 10.8

      Thanks
