flashplayer 10.3 installation failed

Installation of flashplayer 10.3 failed on iMac with OS X10.58 and Safari 5.06, Adobe help and workarounds also fail.

What happend when you say "Installation failed" ?

Do you need Flash Player 10.3 for a specific reason ?

Did you try installing Flash 11.4 from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer ?

11.4 requires another operating system.  "Installation failed" appeared in the installation dialogue box.
