    Creating a user friendly interface to merge into document

      I am looking for a solution and not sure what software is capable or even exists for what I need.

       

      I need to create numerous business proposals and right now the template is set up in InDesign.  The proposal has a lot of variable data in it. Pricing, dates, contact person, company name, industry specific benefits, etc.

       

      Is there a way to create an interface where someone can fill in the blanks, select the items that are needed and anything else that they need and in turn will merge with an InDesign or some other document software.

       

      The document needs to stay editable once it is merged.
