1. Re: Post 12.1 update question - What happened to the icons for assigning dynamic values to form fields?
Nancy O. Oct 10, 2012 3:10 PM (in response to Steve Skinner)Evidently, Adobe did this intentionally. See related discussion.

Steve Skinner Oct 10, 2012 3:24 PM (in response to Nancy O.)This is really surprising, and disappointing. These sort of features are what had users flocking to Dreamweaver in the first place - help with creating dynamic content without having to know how to write the code. If I was ever that good at hand-coding, I would never have used Dreamweaver in the first place. This is not good at all.

Nancy O. Oct 10, 2012 3:55 PM (in response to Steve Skinner)Tell Adobe how you feel.

The more people who describe how this disrupts their workflow, the greater chance for some resolution. Perhaps in the form of an extension that gives back features they've taken away.

Apparently, Adobe's market research tells a very different story. But if this sort of feature is important to you, tell Adobe directly through the bug report/feature request form at http://adobe.ly/DWBug.

Steve Skinner Oct 10, 2012 4:04 PM (in response to David_Powers)I'd really love to know what their market research says then.... Those who know won't say.
In response to David and Nancy, I have spent considerable time today letting Adobe know about my concerns via the links you've provided. However, it seems a dollar short, day late. Still, I'm not one to just complain and not at least do everything I can to try and be heard on the issue. I'd call it in if it would help me.
