Steven L. Gotz Oct 20, 2012 11:05 PM (in response to Studio North Films)Nice.
Being a hobbyist who makes the occasional corporate video, I make do with two 24" (1920X1080) monitors. If I feel the need, I run a long HDMI cable out to my bigscreen TV and watch it before I export, but I have adjusted my monitors close enough to my HDTV that I really don't need to check colors very often. I just export to Vimeo and walk into the other room and play it on my Roku. After all, that is how most people would watch it that were not on a PC anyway.
If I ever had the opportunity to create broadcast quality material, I suppose the first job's profits would be spent on a decent, professionally calibrated monitor.

Luis Cepeda Nov 2, 2012 10:36 AM (in response to Studio North Films)WHat type of Video card do you have installed, mine is Quadro 4800 with 2x display ports and 1 DVI interface, I only can run two outputs at the same time, is that acomplished with SLI card setup?
Also what is the best way to calibrate the Dell Ultrasharp 24" monitors, can that be done by installing a preset or do I have to actually manualy do it.
After all your set up is amazing...I love it.

Studio North Films Nov 3, 2012 4:16 AM (in response to Luis Cepeda)Hi Luis
I am using a Nvidia GTX 680, this gpu has 2x DVI 1x DP 1x HDMI
For best results its best to use a calibration device, as each monitor is different even if same model and build date.
