1. Re: Any audio sync plug-in's or work-arounds based on timecode?
ExactImage Oct 21, 2012 11:06 AM (in response to Tayedrummer)Well, PluralEyes will do this too
HOWEVER
Have you tried selecting ALL the clips in Premiere Pro - right clicking and selecting CREATE-MULTICAM-SOURCE-SEQUENCE ?
This brings up a dialog and you can select TIMECODE as the sync point.

Tayedrummer Oct 21, 2012 12:48 PM (in response to ExactImage)Pluraleyes will sync to timecode?
For the multi-cam, I can select all the video clips but if I select an audio clip the 'create multicam source sequence' is greyed out.

ExactImage Oct 21, 2012 12:55 PM (in response to Tayedrummer)Hmmm...... but does this put all your video in the right place so all you have to do is drop the audio on to the sequence?

4. Re: Any audio sync plug-in's or work-arounds based on timecode?
NilsW Oct 21, 2012 1:00 PM (in response to ExactImage)You can merge the audio with the first of your video clips by using timecode. Then choose all video clips and create multicam sequence with tc.

5. Re: Any audio sync plug-in's or work-arounds based on timecode?
Tayedrummer Oct 21, 2012 1:41 PM (in response to ExactImage)Not really. If I select a dozen clips and make a new multi-cam sequence it thinks they are 12 different cameras instead of just one camera.
I tried downloading the Pluraleyes trial but all I got was a ton of failure to import/export XML errors when I tried to sync the sequence. Are you sure Pluraleyes will sync based on timecode? I can't find any mention of it.

6. Re: Any audio sync plug-in's or work-arounds based on timecode?
Tayedrummer Oct 21, 2012 1:42 PM (in response to NilsW)I have a few hundred clips that need to be sync'd up. If I was to do it all clip-by-clip it would take a forever and a day.

7. Re: Any audio sync plug-in's or work-arounds based on timecode?
NilsW Oct 22, 2012 12:29 AM (in response to Tayedrummer)After creating the multicam sequence, you can open it in timeline and, for example, move all your Videoclips in the first video track. Then you have only one camera. You can also copy all clips in a new sequence which is not multicam....or disable multicam in the automatically made sequence.
Multicam editing in combination with merging clips is very powerful and flexible in Premiere CS6.

Welcome to the joys of dual-system sound.
