Digital editions - safari cannot open

When I try to install adobe digital editions on ipad2 - it says safari cannot open this file.

This would be correct as Adobe Digital Editions only works on Mac OS or Windows.  Please see View e-books | iOS, Android devices - http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/view-e-books-ios-android.html for information on how to view your eBooks on iOS devices.
