How to change "Name" property in multiple checkboxes?

I'm able to select multiple checkboxes and change most of the properties; however, I'm not able to change the name. I'm forced to change each one individually and it's rather tedious. Is there a way to change multiple checkbox names at once?

      Background:

I'm using checkboxes to act like radio buttons so I need to make the name the same to create a group.

My form was designed in InDesign and — much to my dismay — because I used squares, Acrobat's auto-recognition thought most were checkboxes instead of radio buttons. I used a workaround (changed them to round, ran the form wizard, changed the round radio buttons to square, then copy/pasted the fields into my original). I thought that was pretty smart, but the client wanted the ability to "uncheck" the boxes and this is not an option for radio buttons <sigh>

So I figured out that if you give the checkboxes the same name but different export value, it works like a radio button but you can turn it off.

But it's a lot of work to change the name of each one to create a group. When I select multiple checkboxes, I can globally change most other properties, but the name and tooltip fields are grayed out. Am I missing something? Is there another way?

      Thanks!
