Flash player quit working

I am using windows XP (32 bit)and running Internet Explorer 8.  My flashplayer quit working and will not play videos.  I reinstalled the newest version of Flash Player and restarted the machine but the video will still not play.  YouTube videos play fine.  Any suggestions on how to fix?

I've tried most all these suggestions but nothing works so far.

Install different browser for example: Mozilla,Chrome etc, and then try to install flashplayer.Try playing videos...

The flash player works with Mozilla Firefox but will not work with Internet Explorer 8.

Okie; then try to uninstall Internet explore 8 and go back to Internet explore 7

Following these steps:

To uninstall Internet Explorer 8, follow these steps:

1. Exit all programs.
2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
3. Click Add or Remove Programs.
4. In the list of currently installed programs, click Windows Internet Explorer 8, and then click Remove.
