1. Re: Can Watch Folders Watch Subfolders?
lehestro Mar 10, 2013 11:11 AM (in response to alexdejesus)I, too, am looking for a way to do this. I don't know anyone that just dumps all of their footage from a project into one folder (unless it's just a 1 day shoot or something). All of my footage is placed into subfolders based on Camera and Reel. Would be really great if AME could start encoding, and also keep the same folder structure in my output folder. Otherwise the watch folder, for me, is kind of useless.
Anyone have a solution?

davidweisenbarger Apr 8, 2013 2:16 PM (in response to alexdejesus)I second this!!! Add a feature "include subfolders in watch folder" as a setting for a watch folder. And default to put OUTPUT folder into the respective subfolder.

Todd_Kopriva Apr 8, 2013 2:37 PM (in response to davidweisenbarger)You can submit feature requests here:
Feature requests for Adobe Media Encoder can be entered against Premiere Pro or After Effects, depending on which client application you are using.

alexdejesus Apr 8, 2013 3:41 PM (in response to Todd_Kopriva)I think AME can sublocate folders on an individual conversion when you specify output location, but it doesn't work for watch folders. Shouldn't CS7 be releasing sometime soon?

Todd_Kopriva Aug 6, 2013 10:48 AM (in response to Todd_Kopriva)BTW, following up on how to submit requests and reports for AME...
Adobe Media Encoder now has its own entry in the feature-request and bug-report form:
