I am sorry; I posted the wrong link; here is the correct one: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315
For the reinstall, download the offline installer(s) from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_header
If you still have permission problems durin the uninstall or reinstall, right-click on the downloaded uninstaller/installer, then select Run as Administrator.

Hi Pat
System does not allow me to open .log file. It says “Access is denied”
Will also not allow me to attach flashinstall.log to this email. It says”
“You don’t have permission to open this file”
“Contact file owner to obtain permission”.
I have two users namely Hennie and Carien, both with Administrator privileges. The isn’t and Administrator user.
Have had a few problems with PC lately. It seems that my AVG Free has been uninstalled out of its own. I quickly download and installed Avast antivirus and it seems to be running properly.
Hope you can help me.
Regards
Hennie

Is that the same account that you ran the installation under?
I suggest that you try a clean install as described in http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/; make sure you run it under an Administrator account.

Hi Pat
I have two users set up, Hennie and Carien. They are both set up with administrator privileges. When I try to set up a user, Administrator, the system tell me that there already such a user. But in Control Panel it only shows Hennie, Carien and Guest. Guest is set as not active.
I shall go to the web address that you have sent me.
Regards
Hennie
