When I try to import a .fxp file, I get an error:

An error occured when attempting to open the FXP file. Verify if any other applications are using this file or if the destination directory has writer permissions.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

if you are using CS6, then the error is probably just that CS6 no longer contains Flash Catalyst, so .fxp files are not accessible in CS6.

This can happen when Flash Builder is unable to open the FXP file or its a bad archive. Can you open your workspace folder, look for .metadata folder and post the information in the .log file?
