I have no changed anything in my settings but with the last complilation that I did the Contents nav pane is suddenly minimized. I have re-compiled and also opened the compiled file and enlarged the contents nav pane again but as soon as I close the file the pane is minimized again. This is a problem because people think I have removed it. What happened and how to I fix it?

Does anyone have any input on this at all? I am desperate. Am I explaining the problem clearly enough?

Hi Brook21679

Is this a compiled .CHM file or is it WebHelp or FlashHelp?

If it's a compiled .CHM file, I'm wondering if perhaps you need to delete and re-define your default window definition.

Cheers... Rick

It is a compiled .chm file. Any idea why my window definitions would have changed when I wasn't even working in that area?

The only thing I can think of that could cause such a problem is if you are using RH across a network. If so, don't. RH is essentially an Access database which doesn't operate well across a network. Did Rick's advice work?
