Bill Hunt Nov 2, 2012 5:37 PM (in response to ksemple)Since one has "designed" the Preset (or Adobe engineers have), I see nothing wrong with using them, so long as they do everything that the editor wants/needs.
It would be akin to not using Actions, or Scripting in Photoshop, or Expressions in AE. They simplify the manual labor, and allow more time for the editor to be creative.
Just my opinion,
