1. Re: Adobe older updates pages
Terri Stone Nov 7, 2012 11:26 AM (in response to R_Kelly)R_Kelly, are you looking for updates such as the one at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=163&platform=Macintosh? Or do you mean updates for people who have, say, CS4 and want to update to CS6?

2. Re: Adobe older updates pages
R_Kelly Nov 7, 2012 12:07 PM (in response to Terri Stone)Actually the old updates pages that listed all the updates for adobe products as far back as the late nineties.
Some adobe products such as photoshop elements versions before photoshop elements 9 have to be manually updated as they don't have an updater
as do the creative suite products do. And people constanly need older versions of camera raw and updates for older adobe products and a lot of businesses
don't allow direct access to the internet, so one has to download the updates manually.
Here's an example of the old updates page
http://web.archive.org/web/20100618094010/http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
Then one would choose a product and updates were listed for many older versions of the software.

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/
This is an official Adobe ftp site, so there is no risk downloading from it.

7. Re: Adobe older updates pages
R_Kelly Nov 7, 2012 12:44 PM (in response to Terri Stone)It looks like the pages are still there, but now one has to go to the products help page and click on the updates to get listings for prior versions.
Maybe i posted to soon without fully exploring every option, but i was just concerned that perhaps updates for older versions of adobe software
were no longer available.

professional.pirate Nov 7, 2012 4:55 PM (in response to R_Kelly)Have you tried at this link:
<http://www.adobe.com/uk/downloads/updates/>
You can then use a dropdown list to find the product to update.
I have used this method all the time and didn't know any other method up tp now until you told us here!!
