AJAX and CF

I am looking for an AJAX "builder" that is compatible with Cold Fusion and any tips on how to get started using AJAX. We have a shared server with Crystal Tech, and they don't support CFAJAX.

i've just started playing around with JSMX ( http://www.lalabird.com). plays well with CF, lightweight (just 2 .js files to upload if memory serves).

can't vouch for it being "better" or "worse" than other AJAX libraries as it's the first one I've really evaluated, but so far I've no complaints.

Have you looked over at the adobe open source projects side, http://www.riaforge.com/ ?

Take a look at the Spry framework, created by Adobe. It's not made to specifically work with ColdFusion, but I'm sure they had it in mind when they created it.
