File Sharing With Customer

I'd like to be able to use Creative Cloud to share videos created with the customer. I intend to export the video to MP4 format.

I assume I upload it to the area at https://creative.adobe.com/ once I have logged in but how do I give access to the customer to see this or is this not allowed?

Once you navigate to the file, on the top bar, you'll have Share and Download icons.

Click Share, specify Share settings, and enter an email address.
The person you're sharing the file with, will receive an email with a link to the file. They'll need to download the file to view it.

I'm not sure if I am missing something but having just uploaded a test mp4 file it simply shows as an image, ie. 1 frame from the MP4, not an actual movie file that can be viewed. Does this mean that I cannot use this to upload a movie file?

It will only show the first frame to generate a preview.
Users will need to download the file to play it. You can't stream and play the video online.

Currently for legal reasons you cannot share video files using the Creative Cloud.

Hello Ken. I respect copyright issues but can I put this in context. I simply need a temporary space to upload a small section of a video that I am working so that I can show the customer how I plan to proceed. Most of my work is wedding videography and I am simply showing them a preview. The one that I am working on at the moment does not include music. It is not for public viewing. The files will be deleted once the customer has had time to comment on it.

I hope I have made myself very clear on this matter.

@Jeremy Gadd - Quite clear. Unfortunately the legal reasons still remain. We are planning to have private sharing in the future (currently the sharing is only public) which will allow video sharing.

Hello,

I'm a newbie in the creative cloud.
For the work I do with video, its neccessary that we can share video files with my customers.
I understand the discussion about legal reasons, but is there another way to share the files with my customer ?

@Anthony Jansen - Folder sharing and private sharing with specific individuals is coming soon. Once these are available sharing of video files will be possible.

You can share a video file if you zip it first. It is a pain and I welcome the upgrades coming in the future but for now that is the best workaround I have discovered.
