1. Re: Best way to "wrap" an image to a rounded surface without looking hokey?
Mylenium Nov 19, 2012 11:18 AM (in response to TwitchOSX)If you have Extended, map it to a 3D cylinder and align the texture and geometry...

TwitchOSX Nov 19, 2012 11:26 AM (in response to Mylenium)Don't have extended. And even if I did, I wouldn't know how to do it as I've never done it before =) Of course I'm sure I could google how to do it but again, no Extended here.

bellevue scott Nov 19, 2012 6:29 PM (in response to TwitchOSX)You might try filters -> vanishing point if edit -> transform -> warp with curvature doesn't work for you.

Noel Carboni Nov 19, 2012 6:47 PM (in response to TwitchOSX)Man, that photo gives me a craving for a cup o' joe. Might have to go brew some decaf.
Oh, and what conroy said is the way I do it. I have Extended and 3D capability, and I guess that could help with stuff like reflections and the more esoteric aspects if "faking it" just doesn't do it. But so far warping things into place seems to have been sufficient in all the cases where I've needed to do something like that.
