1. Re: Help Converting DVPro50
ComputerNovice25 Nov 19, 2012 2:34 PM (in response to Jay Gladwell)In my own experince using Premiere I haven't ever had much luck making interlaced footage look good when needing to make it progressive. (Or at least look as it did originally.) But the best way I know of using Premiere is to right click the footage inside your bin and select "modify>interpet>conform to "progressive".

Personally, I'd probably work in a sequence that matches the DVCPRO50.

Jay Gladwell Nov 20, 2012 8:32 AM (in response to JSS1138)Jim, pardon my ignorance, since I've not had to do this in the past.
If I set up a sequence for DVCPro50 and bring the HD footage into it, the sequence's attributes will be applied automatically?

Jay Gladwell Nov 20, 2012 12:06 PM (in response to JSS1138)Sorry for the lack of clarity.
When the HD footage is brought into a project/sequence that was set up for DVCpro50, will the HD footage be automatically resized to fit the DVCPro settings?
