Which operating system are you using?  Is the file association for ACSM files set to open in Adobe Digital Editions?  Do you have Adobe Digital Editions currently installed?

Jeff, thanks for your concern. I think I have Windows 7, and I feel confident that I have Digital Edition installed, maybe many times now as I have tried many things to get books from our library.
